Synopsis

Magic Binds is the ninth Kate Daniels novel. As Kate and Curran plan their long-awaited wedding, the Witch Oracle delivers a troubling prophecy warning that their marriage will bring catastrophe to Atlanta, a vision of fire and destruction that neither of them can simply dismiss. Complications mount when the ancient sorcerer Roland kidnaps the demigod Saiman to drain his power for unknown purposes, forcing Kate to confront the reach of Roland's ambitions even as she tries to protect Curran's future and her impending marriage from the Oracle's dire warning for Atlanta's fate. With few allies equipped to help her navigate a threat as old and powerful as Roland, Kate is driven to seek help from unlikely and even dangerous sources, determined to find a way through the prophecy without losing everything she and Curran have built together.
