Synopsis
Winged ape demons and bird-faced creatures serving the Serpent King appear in Pars, and monsters attack Arslan and Elam in the streets of the capital Ecbatana, showing that Zahhak's forces are closing in. In Misr, Hirmes lives under the name Kushanfuru and quietly bides his time, planning to seize the throne. There he meets Phitna, the Peacock Princess, who wears a mysterious silver bracelet. Meanwhile Kubad and his companions are trapped on the cursed Mount Demavand, and Arslan, Daryun and Narsus face a demonic army advancing toward their own positions.
