Synopsis
Rielle now works as a Maker, moving between worlds to help repair and safeguard them, and is assigned to a world locked in conflict with its neighbor. Tyen, having set aside spying to teach, pursues his own goal of dismantling deadly war-machines while contending with interference from Liftre. When an old adversary brings word of a danger worse than the corruption and manipulation they have already faced, their separate efforts converge toward a final reckoning.
