Synopsis
Five years after the Rebels' confrontation with the Raen, Qall is coming of age among the nomadic Travellers while Rielle and Tyen try to hold onto a fragile peace. As old enemies work to restore a dangerous power to its former strength and the threat of war returns, the promises each of them made in earlier books are tested, forcing new choices about loyalty, protection, and what kind of world they are willing to fight for.
