Synopsis
Years after fleeing his old life, Tyen is teaching mechanical magic at the academy of Liftre when the Raen -- the most powerful sorcerer and ruler of all worlds -- returns from a long absence, forcing Tyen to choose between hiding and honoring his promise to Vella. Rielle, meanwhile, has spent five peaceful years among the Schpetan tapestry weavers until local conflict and the arrival of mysterious travelers, including a figure from her past, expose her hidden magical ability and threaten to pull her back into a much larger struggle.
