Synopsis
Weetzie Bat is turning forty. Her relationship with Max, My-Secret-Agent-Lover-Man, has gone stale, and she is tired of adult life. She leaves him and checks into an enchanted pink hotel in Los Angeles. There she meets eccentric guests and staff, including a blue-skinned receptionist, an invisible cleaning lady, a seductive room service clerk and a sushi-eating mermaid whose kiss begins her search for herself. In a place where magic turns up in stolen moments, Weetzie works out what she wants from love and from the rest of her life.
