Synopsis

Nightblood is the third and final novel in the Frostblood Saga, following Frostblood and Fireblood. Ruby, who has already discovered her ability to control fire and ice, learns that she may in fact be a Nightblood, born from a vengeful deity intent on freeing an imprisoned army of shadowy wraiths. She carries a shadow within her own body, one capable of consuming her if she loses control of it, even as she works to unite the long-divided Frostbloods and Firebloods against this older, greater threat. The novel follows Ruby's attempt to master a power she never asked for while rallying two hostile peoples toward a common fight neither side is prepared for.
