Synopsis
Fireblood picks up after Ruby's confrontation with the Frost King has unleashed the Minax, a dangerous ancient force now loose in the world, forcing Ruby to seek a way to stop it before it can cause further devastation. Her search for answers takes her to Sudesia, the homeland of the Firebloods and a culture she has never experienced firsthand, where she must complete a series of trials to earn the trust of the Fireblood queen and gain access to knowledge that might help her defeat the Minax. Complicating her mission is Kai, a roguish Fireblood companion who draws her attention even as she tries to stay true to Arcus, leaving Ruby to navigate both a magical crisis and her own divided loyalties.
