Synopsis
In the fourth volume of Rise of the Alliance, Detlev's boys take two prisoners and retreat to their lair on Five, a sister world that has been lifeless for nearly five thousand years. Reviled by both sides, they can count only on their strength, their training and each other, or so it seems. Neither Norsunder nor the Sartoran mages know that secrets buried within that world will change everything. The hunt continues on two worlds, and the surviving allies take on adult roles and face greater challenges as war approaches.
