Synopsis

Paladin's Hope is set some months after the previous novel, in the city of Archenhold, where recent actions by Bishop Beartongue have left tension between the City Guard and the Temple of the White Rat. The story follows Galen, one of the paladins left without a god, after bodies begin turning up in the river. Sent to investigate alongside a gnole tracker named Earstripe and a doctor named Piper, Galen finds the case entangled with deeper political and social conflicts dividing the city, and the three must work together despite their differences as the investigation into the killings unfolds. First published in 2021, Paladin's Hope belongs to the The Saint of Steel series.
