Synopsis
Isaac Frost is an assassin raised by the mysterious Undertaker. With a single drop of another person's blood, he can take on that person's knowledge and power. After meeting the elf queen Argent, he enrolls in a chaotic magical school for wayward practitioners, where he becomes drawn to Vran, a Sea Elf with secrets. The Undertaker has ordered Isaac to destroy the school from within, and Isaac has to finish that mission before the Undertaker acts on his own. The novel takes place in the world of the Adam Binder books, between the third and fourth books of that series.
