Synopsis
Adam Binder, a poor gay warlock, goes back to his Oklahoma hometown for the funeral of his great-aunt Sue, who was also his magic tutor. Her death looks suspicious. Soon a powerful druid blows up Sue's trailer and kills her daughter. While Adam investigates, he worries about his surviving cousin Jodi, who is using powers she does not understand. His boyfriend Vic, a cop who has become a reaper, is drawn into the magical realm of the elf queen Argent, where the two uncover an elf faction that wants to destroy humanity. Adam has to find the killer while the threat from the elven side keeps growing.
