Synopsis
Ruby Fever concludes Catalina Baylor's trilogy as a chaotic string of events, including an assassination attempt and a direct attack on her boss, the Warden of Texas, puts the fate of Houston and House Baylor squarely in her hands. With the city's fragile balance of power under threat and old enemies converging at once, Catalina must finally confront the full scope of the danger closing in around her family, drawing on allies from across the magical community, including Alessandro Sagredo, whose partnership with her has grown into something neither fully anticipated. As the investigation deepens, Catalina realizes the attacks are connected to a wider scheme that threatens to unravel House Baylor entirely. Facing enemies more organized and better placed than any her family has confronted before, Catalina must learn to harness the full extent of her magic if Houston, and the people she loves, are to survive.
