Synopsis
Having profited from his grim trade, Saevus Corax turns to protecting the salvage crew he now leads, whose livelihood depends on access to battlefields nobody hostile controls. When that access is threatened, Corax's solution is to seize a castle for his crew's own use -- pursued by unconventional means that bear little resemblance to the textbook rules of siegecraft. The scheme draws him deeper into the mercenary politics and shifting alliances of the ongoing war, testing both his resourcefulness and his loyalty to the people now depending on him.
