Synopsis

Lilah, now a princess, teams up with Atan, the hidden princess of Sartor, the oldest country in the world. Together they try to lift a century-long enchantment that lies over Atan's kingdom. Their journey leads through capture and escape, a forest that stands outside of time, ancient beings, civilisations hidden in caves and a deadly enemy who wants to stop them. Atan, who is only fifteen, must also face the demands of being a queen, and her challenges are only beginning if she survives the quest. The book continues the story of The Spy Princess.

Notes

  • First published as an e-book by Book View Cafe in 2012; the first print edition is the 2014 trade paperback.
  • From the series record (Lilah's Adventures): Lilah, a young noblewoman, becomes a spy in a kingdom on the edge of revolution and then helps the hidden queen of Sartor.

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.

  • Internal chronology, within Sartorias-deles: position 14 of 37: previous Court Duel (1998) · next Twice a Prince (2008)
