Synopsis
With the war over, Mel must trade her boots and sword for gowns and ballrooms. At court in Remalna-city she faces a world of fans, rumours and quiet alliances, where the fighting is done with words and every smile may hide a plan. Old enemies of the crown are still at large, and a powerful family with its own ambitions begins to move against the new order. Mel, still wary of the Marquis of Shevraeth, has to learn the rules of a game she never wanted to play, while sorcery and the old magic of the Hill Folk gather around the capital.
