Synopsis
Season of the Serpent, scheduled for publication by Suyi Davies Okungbowa in 2026, is the third novel of the Nameless Republic trilogy, continuing directly from the unresolved conflicts of Son of the Storm and Warrior of the Wind on the continent of Oon. Following Danso and Lilong's journey toward the Nameless Islands and the mysteries surrounding the magical stone ibor, and the growing power of Esheme as Bassa's ruler, the concluding volume is set to bring the trilogy's threads, the fate of Bassa, the truth behind ibor and the legendary city of Risisi, and the fractured relationships among its central characters, toward their resolution, closing out the story begun in the earlier two books.
