Where it sits
- Universe: Chronicles of Amber
- Series: not part of a registered series (standalone work within its universe)
- Author: Roger Zelazny
Notes
- Collects six Amber short stories written 1985-1996: "Prolog to Trumps of Doom" (1985), "The Salesman's Tale" (1994), "The Shroudling and the Guisel" (1994), "Blue Horse, Dancing Mountains" (1995), "Coming to a Cord" (1995), "Hall of Mirrors" (1996, Zelazny's last Amber work). Does not include the unfinished fragment "A Secret of Amber" (co-written with Ed Greenwood, published posthumously 2005 in Amberzine #12-15). Correction: the story is titled "Coming to a Cord", not "Coming to a Cusp", no source supports the latter title.
Neighbouring works
Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.
- Publication order, within Chronicles of Amber (standalone work): position 11 of 11: previous Prince of Chaos (1991)
