Synopsis
The world's most dangerous assassin has been hired to kill King Ambrose. Only the White Sister Emerald can identify the killer's magic, and only Sir Stalwart knows his face, so the two must catch him before he strikes at the king or at them. The investigation leads back to Ironhall, the swordsmen's school that Stalwart recently left, and both characters end up in roles that do not match what anyone expected of them.
