Synopsis
Skybowl brings the Dragon Star trilogy to its final volume as the Vellant'im's invasion of the continent grinds on, with Pol, now High Prince, struggling to coordinate a defense from ever-thinner resources. Working alongside his mother Sioned in the magical resistance and an uneasy Andry, Lord of Goddess Keep, Pol must draw together former rivals such as Tilal of Ossetia, Arlis of Kierst-Isel, and Laric of Firon into a single fighting alliance. As the Vellant'im advance and casualties mount, sorcerers of the Old Blood offer their aid, and plans take shape for a great magical construct called a ros'alath, meant to be built at the mountain lake known as Skybowl, while allied princes fight in parallel to reclaim territory the invaders have seized across the continent.
