Synopsis

The Dragon Token continues the Dragon Star trilogy across the war-torn princedoms, Goddess Keep, and the northern region of Firon, as the invading Vellant'im press their campaign of conquest. Pol, reeling from his father Rohan's death, is torn between grief and a grim resolve to finally strike back at the invaders, working alongside his mother Sioned to unravel who the Vellant'im are and why they came. His wife Meiglan and young daughter Rislyn are caught in the widening danger, while Andry attempts to shield the family even as old resentments between him and Pol persist. In Firon, the regent-sorcerer Yarin pursues his own agenda, and a mirror discovered by Sioned and Pol yields Lord Rosseyn, an ancient sorcerer whose knowledge of forgotten magic may prove crucial. The princedoms' fractured alliances and long-standing grudges must be overcome if the invasion is to be turned back.
