Synopsis
The eleventh and final volume of The Wars of Light and Shadow brings the series' converging conflicts across the world of Athera toward their resolution. Arithon's fury is ignited by the execution of innocents, setting him directly against the warring factions still competing for dominance, while the fanatical True Sect raises new armies aimed at exterminating the forest clans and conquering the last of the free wilds. The Koriani Prime Matriarch pursues a dangerous form of power in her bid to control humanity's future, even as rampaging dragons clash destructively with the Fellowship of Seven sorcerers. With Charter Law breaking down across the land, humanity's right to remain in Athera hangs in the balance, and Elaira and Daliana face their greatest tests yet as their loyalties are challenged and Lysaer's long reckoning with the Mistwraith's curse comes to a head.
