Synopsis
Stone of Farewell picks up in the immediate aftermath of the first novel, following several separated storylines across a land now sliding into open war. Simon, marked by a scar from his earlier encounter with dragon's blood and given the new name Snowlock, continues his search for the legendary Stone of Farewell together with his surviving companions, while the exiled Prince Josua works to gather scattered survivors of a devastating siege into the beginnings of a resistance. Princess Miriamele, meanwhile, must navigate danger stemming from her father Elias's increasingly dark rule, and Princess Maegwin leads her people into ancient underground realms in search of allies, uncovering secrets that may prove decisive in the growing conflict against the undead Storm King and the forces massing in the north.
