Synopsis
Stonewielder is the third Novel of the Malazan Empire, set on the isolated island continent of Korel as the Malazan Empire launches a fresh invasion there under the command of Greymane, a man also known by the title Stonewielder, who had tried and failed to leave his military past behind him running a simple swordsmanship school. The campaign forces Greymane to confront both the entrenched local defenders of Korel and unresolved matters from his own earlier, disgraced career within the Malazan military, forcing him to reckon with a past he had hoped his quiet new life would let him leave behind for good.
