Synopsis
Storm Cursed continues the Mercy Thompson series after Mercy declares the Tri-Cities under pack protection, transforming her home into neutral ground where humans can safely meet and negotiate with the fae. The arrangement is meant to ease escalating tensions between humans and the supernatural community, but it also puts Mercy and the pack at the center of increasingly fraught politics as different factions test the boundaries of the new order. As word spreads of the protected ground, a formidable and unfamiliar supernatural threat begins to emerge nearby, one whose nature and intentions are not immediately clear to Mercy or her allies. With human, fae, and werewolf interests all converging on the same fragile arrangement, Mercy and Adam must work to keep the peace they have built from collapsing while also identifying the danger gathering at the edges of their territory before it grows any larger.
