Synopsis
Stormrider concludes the Rigante series, centering on Gaise Macon, a young nobleman known by the Rigante name Stormrider, who serves in the Royalist king's army even as conflict brews between rival factions across the realm. An ancient prophecy claims that a man with a golden eye will kill Lord Winterbourne, leader of the fanatical Redeemer Knights, marking Gaise as a target the moment his connection to the prophecy becomes known. As Winterbourne's ambitions grow and the political order around the king begins to fracture, Gaise finds himself caught between his duties as a soldier and the deepening danger surrounding his own identity. Political turmoil spreads through the kingdoms he serves and protects, drawing in old allies and enemies alike as the struggle against Winterbourne and the Redeemer Knights intensifies, forcing Gaise to confront both his enemies and the weight of the prophecy attached to his name.
