Synopsis
The third and final volume of the series centres on a conspiracy to topple the emperor by seizing the city of Syrinx, a task that a single legion could carry out. The only obstacle is one man who stands against the army. Meanwhile Taida finds love amid the chaos, and Virion refuses to accept that the Empire is doomed. Virion, the most celebrated swordsman in the land, prepares to face a force that no single person should be able to stop.
