Synopsis

Temple of the Winds finds Richard, Kahlan, and their allies confronting two intertwined threats set in motion by Emperor Jagang: a magical plague sweeping through the population, and a race to seize powerful artifacts that could turn the tide of the ongoing war. As the plague spreads and the death toll mounts, Richard searches for a way into the Temple of the Winds itself, a place bound by ancient prophecy and difficult conditions of entry, while Jagang's agents work to claim the same relics for the Imperial Order. The mounting pressure tests Richard and Kahlan's bond as they try to outmaneuver both the disease and their enemies, with the fate of entire nations resting on whether Richard can reach the Temple in time.
