Synopsis

Ten Thousand Stitches is the second novel in the Regency Faerie Tales series, set in the same magic-touched version of Regency England. It follows Euphemia "Effie" Reeves, a housemaid who falls in love with Mr. Benedict Ashbrooke, a gentleman whose social rank makes any match between them impossible under the era's rigid class expectations. While wandering into the faerie realm, Effie encounters the faerie lord Lord Blackthorn, who offers her a bargain: if she sews ten thousand stitches into his favorite jacket within one hundred days, he will help her win Ashbrooke's affection. Effie accepts, aware that faerie bargains carry hidden costs, and begins her task even as Blackthorn's unpredictable, well-meaning interference in her courtship threatens to complicate matters further. The novel follows her efforts to balance her growing feelings, her work, and the mounting price of the magic she has invited into her life.
