Synopsis

Several years after Emily and Jessup Volnik managed to send the wayward Boggart home from Toronto, the Canadian children return to Scotland to see their friend Tommy and the Boggart's Castle Keep. The mischievous spirit is delighted, and takes them north to Loch Ness to help a friend in trouble: Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster, who is not a monster at all but another boggart, one who long ago took the shape of a great prehistoric creature and has been stuck in it, and in the loch, ever since, having forgotten how to change back. With a scientific expedition hunting the monster with sonar and cameras, the Boggart and the children must help Nessie remember what she is before the humans catch her.
