Synopsis
Call, Aaron, and Tamara begin their third year at the Magisterium, where a fellow student dies suddenly under suspicious circumstances during a celebration. Fearing that a hidden spy inside the school is targeting him specifically, Call joins his friends in investigating the death, sneaking into restricted areas of the school to search for answers. Their inquiry leads them toward a voice-activated safe that can only be opened with the name of a twin brother of Constantine Madden that history has forgotten, tying the present danger to old, buried Magisterium secrets. As the traitor within the school continues operating unseen, extracting information and orchestrating further attacks, Call, Aaron, and Tamara race to identify the spy before anyone else close to them is hurt.
