Synopsis
Maya Delaney has a paw-print birthmark that marks her as a skin-walker, with strong senses and a close bond with the animals of the forest near her home. After her friends flee a suspected arson fire, they are kidnapped and left stranded in the Vancouver Island wilderness. Maya, sixteen and living on Vancouver Island, and her companions have no easy route back and have to rely on their abilities to find their way home.
