Synopsis
Maya is sixteen and lives in a small community on Vancouver Island. Strange things keep happening around her: mountain lions repeatedly approach her, her best friend has an ability to sense people and situations, and a new boy who seems trouble makes her feel different. There are also a few unexplained deaths in town. Maya has questions about her biological parents, and the answers appear tied to the odd events around her.
