Synopsis
The Curse of the Gloamglozer shifts the Edge Chronicles to a new generation, opening the second trilogy within the series. Fourteen-year-old Quint Verginix, son of the famed sky pirate captain Wind Jackal, arrives at the floating city of Sanctaphrax, a great rock tethered to the ground by an immense chain, while his father is away on a voyage. Left to find his footing in the city's academic and political world, Quint gradually uncovers signs of a hidden menace stirring beneath Sanctaphrax, tied to old fears surrounding the legendary Gloamglozer. As suspicion and unease spread among the city's scholars and officials, Quint finds himself drawn into investigating the threat directly, with the safety of Sanctaphrax's inhabitants resting on what he discovers.
