Synopsis
A human girl raised in the dark arts takes the soul-stone of one of the seven Lords of Chaos and prepares to use it to spread terror in Chaos's name. Years after the events of the Time Master story, the gods of Order and Chaos are uneasy, and the Circle, the brotherhood that serves Order, must work out who she is and how to stop her. The first book of the Chaos Gate trilogy follows the girl's rise and the people drawn into her path.
