Synopsis
Order has triumphed over Chaos, and the Circle, a group of adepts, serves the seven gods of Order. Tarod, a powerful sorcerer in the Circle, is drawn to a darker power from beyond time that he does not understand. When a force from beyond time begins to call to him, it threatens his faith, his sanity and the fragile balance on which the Circle's world rests. He must face what it is before it plunges the world back into chaos.
