Synopsis

The Demon Spirit continues the DemonWars Saga's first trilogy after The Demon Awakens, following the resistance against the demon dactyl as its scattered servants keep devastating the land of Corona. Elbryan, now trained as the ranger Nightbird, and Pony continue their fight against the goblins, giants and powries left in the demon's wake, while the wider resistance discovers unexpected allies once thought lost to the earlier conflict. As the war drags on, the story also turns inward toward the kingdom's own institutions, exposing corruption within the powerful Church of Corona that complicates the heroes' efforts even as they search for the magical Ring Stones connected to the demon dactyl's power, forcing Elbryan, Pony and their companions to contend with enemies both human and monstrous.

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.
