Synopsis
In Steven Brust's Dragaeran Empire, the sorceress Sethra Lavode sends the Dzur warrior Telnan to investigate a strange magical disturbance beneath an abandoned Serioli dwelling in the Kanefthali Mountains. There he meets Daymar, a scholar excavating the same site, and together they uncover something powerful and long dormant sleeping under the cave floor.
