Synopsis
The third installment of the Traitor Son Cycle shifts the Red Knight's struggles toward a different kind of arena: a great tournament convened to let the nobility of the land compete for royal favor and renown. Fresh from the wars of the previous volumes, the Red Knight and his companions must now navigate courtly rivalries, alliances and spectacle rather than open battle, even as the deeper conflict between the Wild and the kingdoms of men continues to simmer beneath the pageantry. The tournament setting brings old friends and enemies together under one roof, testing loyalties as much as swordsmanship. First published in 2015, The Dread Wyrm belongs to the The Traitor Son Cycle series.
