Synopsis
The concluding volume of the Draconis Memoria trilogy picks up with the White Drake, awakened in the previous book, having conquered the continent of Arradsia and commanding both the enslaved Spoiled and legions of transformed beasts. As its forces advance toward the mainland, spreading destruction across multiple territories, the Ironship Trading Syndicate faces the prospect of total collapse, worsened by internal civil unrest and corporate infighting among its own leadership. Claydon Torcreek, Lizanne Lethridge and Captain Corrick Hilemore, together with other survivors of the earlier campaigns, are drawn into an effort to unite fractured and mistrustful factions against the common threat. Their search for a way to stop the White Drake for good pushes them to seek out fragments of forgotten knowledge about the creature's origins and weaknesses while the invasion continues to spread.
