Synopsis
Streetlord-turned-wizard Han Alister strikes a bargain with the clans to fund his education at the prestigious Mystwerk Academy in Oden's Ford, where he clashes with his rival Micah Bayar and seeks out a mysterious, reclusive wizard known only as Crow for secret training. Meanwhile, Princess Raisa disguises herself as a commoner to escape a forced marriage back home and pursue an education of her own in the same city, unaware that the wizard student she has begun to befriend is Han. As the two grow closer without either fully realizing who the other truly is, both must contend with rivals, political plots, and the pressures of a court neither can entirely escape.
