Synopsis
A comet called the Eye of the Hunter returns a thousand years after it last appeared, and the forces of darkness stir for the return of the evil Baron Stoke. The immortal Elves Riatha and Aravan set out to recover a magic silver sword lost long ago to a yellow-eyed Man. Two Warrows, Gwylly and Faeril, join them to fulfill a thousand-year-old prophecy, and a fifth member of the company comes back from death. The group thaws Baeran, a shape-shifting Man and Bear trapped in a glacier with Stoke, and pursues the Baron from polar ice to desert.
