Synopsis
Long ago, at the end of the conflict known as the Sorceress War, the wizards of Eutracia overcame the sorceresses who had fought them for control of the kingdom. Now that old danger is rising again, and Prince Tristan, the heir to the throne, is drawn into it. Guided by the ancient wizard Wigg, he sets out on a perilous quest that takes the two of them into the sorceresses’ own keep, where Tristan must face the powers that threaten his family and his land. The novel was Newcomb’s debut and opens the Chronicles of Blood and Stone.
