Synopsis
The story begins with the revelation that Wulfgar, half-brother to Tristan and his sister Shailiha, is alive, though horribly scarred. He returns to the Citadel, where his wife and unborn child await him, to plan his revenge. Meanwhile the Orb of the Vigors, the source of the realm’s magic, has been damaged and is literally burning a path across Eutracia. Tristan and his Conclave set out to stop both the runaway Orb and Wulfgar, in the opening book of the second Blood and Stone trilogy.
