Synopsis
After the events of The Fifth Sorceress, Prince Tristan, heir to the throne of Eutracia, has taken refuge in a cavernous underground labyrinth, once the headquarters of the wizards’ council, with his twin sister Shailiha, her infant daughter, the ancient wizard Wigg, the last surviving member of the Directorate, and the crippled wizard Faegan, who has returned from self-imposed exile in the forest of Shadowood. A horror from the past, long believed vanquished, has returned with devastating fury, while a mysterious and ruthless mercenary has put a bounty on Tristan’s head. Branded an outlaw and named, with his sister, as one of the prophesied Chosen Ones, Tristan is thrust into a battle for his life, his land and his destiny.
