Synopsis
The defeat and death of the evil Wulfgar should bring rejoicing to Eutracia, but Prince Tristan grieves. On the eve of a bold surprise attack, disaster strikes: from behind the towering azure wall of magical energy in the Tolenka Mountains comes Xanthus, a warrior sent by the otherworldly Heretics, who terrorises Eutracia’s people until Tristan agrees to cross into their realm, where he will learn a shocking truth about the destiny he shares with his sister. In his absence Shailiha must lead the fleet of Black Ships against the Citadel with the wizards Faegan and Wigg and the pirate queen Tyranny, unaware that Wulfgar’s widow, the sorceress Serena, has prepared a deadly trap and a spell powerful enough to defeat death itself.
