Synopsis
The final book of the sequence gathers the characters and worlds of the earlier novels. Alexa, David's daughter, is at the centre of events as she learns more about where she comes from and what part she plays in the long struggle between dragons and their enemies. David, Zanna, the polar bears and the dragons all have roles to play as the conflict with the Ix and the darklings comes to a head. The book also explains the idea of Oomara, which underlies the world of the series.
