Synopsis
After the threat of the dark fire is dealt with, David Rain, Zanna and the Pennykettle dragons vanish from Wayward Crescent and find themselves in a new world called Co:pern:ica. There the story follows a twelve-year-old David, whose family are physicists researching rifts in time, and who has unsettling dreams. He ends up at the vast Librarium, where he befriends a girl named Rosanna. Together they come across an injured firebird, and they are drawn into a conflict with the Ix, a force that has turned one of the firebirds to darkness. The firebirds know about dragons, and word spreads that a dragon from far away may be able to help.
