Synopsis
The Fury of the Gods, the third and final book in John Gwynne's Norse-inspired Bloodsworn Saga, finds war converging on the city of Snakavik as the consequences of Lik-Rifa's escape reach their climax. The warrior Varg attempts to slay a dragon alongside his shield-companions in the Bloodsworn, drawing on bonds forged across the earlier books, while Elvar fights to hold onto her hard-won power and control over a wolf-god whose loyalty remains uncertain. Meanwhile rival warbands march north toward Snakavik seeking their own fortunes and advantage in the escalating conflict, adding further pressure to an already volatile situation as old alliances are tested and new dangers emerge from the chaos surrounding the dead gods' remains.
