Synopsis
In the summer of 1892, Sophia Tims and Theo have recovered Sophia's uncle Shadrack, but her parents are still missing. Sophia and Theo each follow a separate lead about what happened to them, in a world where regions sit in different times and maps need magic to be read. Along the way their discoveries begin to connect. The trail points toward a hidden city that can be reached only through darkness and chaos, and the two friends must decide how far they will go to follow it while others race to reach the same place first.
